Abstract
We show that transient progenitors underlying human body axis formation, including the neural tube, can be captured as indefinitely self-renewing stem cells, providing a platform to study human axial development and model neural tube, derived tissues, including the dorsal root ganglia. The lab also leads a centralized protocol harmonization effort to systematically assemble and compare diverse differentiation protocols for human tissue modeling.
