4 good reasons to become a blood donor:
- Saving Lives: One in four people will need blood at some point to survive, recover, or prevent illness. As a blood donor, you have a significant impact on the lives of individuals such as those with cancer, victims of traffic accidents, and women and babies after a difficult childbirth.
- Personal Satisfaction: Donating blood or plasma means doing something good for others. Knowing that you have a positive impact on the lives of others can be very satisfying.
- Health Check: As a donor, you undergo a brief medical examination with each donation. It's a bonus that as a donor, you regularly gain insight into your own health.
- Maintaining Blood Supply: In the event of disasters and emergencies, there is often an urgent need for blood. By regularly donating blood, you contribute to the blood supply available to respond quickly to emergencies and provide care to people in need.
We are always looking for fresh blood!
Hundreds of people in the Netherlands need blood every day. Are you healthy, do you feel fit and would you like to do something for someone else? Register now as a blood donor! And also make the rest of your team enthusiastic, because the more colleagues participate, the more people we can help.
