Are you already a donor? Let us know! This tells us how many lives Microsoft has already saved. You can also sign up to become a blood donor ambassador for Microsoft; in this role you are asked to help us inform and inspire your colleagues about blood donation.

Good to know
- Microsoft highly encourages you to donate blood, as it is an important contribution to society and people in need.
- If it's not possible for you to visit your nearest Sanquin location outside of work hours, you are welcome to use (part) of your volunteering hours for donating blood.
- You are granted 24 volunteering hours per year in total.
- Women are called upon to donate blood up to 3 and men up to 5 times a year.
- One blood donation will take an hour of your time.
- Before the donation you’ll fill in a short medical questionnaire.
- The donor will measure your blood pressure and hemoglobin (iron) level.
- If everything is in order, you can donate.
- The donation itself takes about 10 minutes.
- After donating, you can eat and drink something in the donor café
- If you become a plasma donor, you decide yourself how many times and when you want to donate. You schedule your plasma appointments at a date and time which suits you best.
