2. Medical check
After registration, you make an appointment for a medical check with a donation doctor.
3. Donate
If everything checks out, you are a new donor! You will receive an invitation as soon as your blood type is needed.
I'm already a donor
Are you already a donor? Let us know! This tells us how many lives Equinix has already saved. You can also sign up to become a blood donor ambassador for Equinix; in this role you are asked to help us inform and inspire your colleagues about blood donation.
Good to know
- Equinix gives you the opportunity to donate blood during working hours. In agreement with your manager and your working hours, you can use your dollars for doers pocket and make an impact to somebody’s life. The dollars you receive can be donated to an organization of your own choice.
- As a blood donor, women are called to donate up to 3 times a year and men up to 5 times a year.
You can schedule blood donation during working hours, register your hours on Benevity as per dollars for doers program. - There are blood bank locations throughout the Netherlands. After your registration as a blood donor, you will receive an invitation from Sanquin for blood donation in your area.
- You can choose either a blood bank location close to home or close to work. You can determine this per blood donation.

- Bring your personal invitation and ID with you.
