The cytoskeleton of endothelial cells can be rapidly remodeled to facilitate leukocyte passage. This cytoskeletal reorganization is regulated by Rho GTPases, like RhoA and Rac1. My aim is to understand how local and global signaling by endothelial Rho GTPases regulate the endothelial barrier function during transendothelal migration of leukocytes.
