Meet Rosa de Groot
Rosa de Groot just started her PhD on the influence of environmental factors and donor lifestyle on blood quality parameters. She joined the DIS team in 2015 and will be responsible for an extra measurement of physical activity using accelerometers in a subset of the DIS-III participants.
Rosa de Groot started at Sanquin last year as an intern at the department of Donor Studies. She wrote her master thesis on ´On-site donor deferral in the Netherlands between 2006-2013’ and graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2014 with a master’s degree in Health Sciences. After graduating, she joined Sanquin where she worked for one year on different projects including the European funded Donor Health Care programme as project coordinator. Rosa recently started with her PhD on the influence of environmental factors and lifestyle on blood quality parameters.
