Role of guanine-nucleotide exchange factor in leukocyte transendothelial migration

Group leader: Jaap van Buul PhD

Upon inflammation, leukocytes extravasate from the circulation across the endothelium lining the vessel wall into the underlying tissue in order to clear invading pathogens. The lab of Jaap van Buul focuses on the active role of the endothelium in guiding leukocyte migration across the vessel wall.
