Masterclass on Biologics - towards personalised medicine
In this one day course key opinion leaders (KOL) in the biologics field will share the latest information on monoclonal therapeutics - from biologics testing and establishing an effective dose, to immunogenicity and its effect on clinical outcome.
Date: 14 October 2016
Location: Sanquin, Plesmanlaan 125, 1066 CX Amsterdam
At Sanquin we have years of experience in developing Diagnostics for measuring drug levels as well as Anti-Drug Antibodies (ADA) to therapeutic biologics. Sanquin hosts specialists on immunogenicity who published numerous peer-reviewed papers on immunogenicity and how to act upon anti-drug antibody formation.
Our in-house KOLs Gertjan Wolbink MD PhD (Reade/Sanquin) and Theo Rispens PhD and our collaborators Joep Killestein PhD (Vumc) and Thomas van Stappen MSc (KU Leuven) will share their knowledge and clinical practise. Topics of this masterclass include optimising treatment with biologics, using the available assays for therapeutic drug monitoring, and the relevance of immunogenicity. There will be a lot of time for discussion and answering the questions you have on Biologics.
The following topics will be covered:
- biologics assays, intra-lab comparisons
- therapeutic drug monitoring
- ample networking opportunities
