Blood provides ill and injured people the chance of having a healthy and happy life again. That is why it is so important that blood is available for everyone and at all times. In the Netherlands, Sanquin ensures that this is the case. Together with you as a blood donor. Help saving lives Giving blood is a simple way to save the life of someone else. Of a cancer patient, a road victim or a women who has just given birth to a baby boy or girl. We are always looking for new blood donors. Please help saving lives too and register today. We hope to see you in one of our locations soon. Wanted: Plasma donors! Sanquin Bloodbank is looking for new plasma donors. In plasmapheresis, equipment is used to separate the blood into plasma and cells. Only the plasma is taken away, while the blood cells are returned to the donor. The donation of plasma can take place more often and takes longer than regular blood donation. |
